The Blower motor in the GLK went out. I could buy a new bher unit for $180 on amazon.
OR, amazon warehouse had a ‘used’ one. But judging from the description
, it looks like just the box was damaged in shipping or something.
it was $50. literally 1/4 of the price.
So, I ordered
it. we shall see how it works out for me.

RockAuto has new blower motors for as low as $40. Do they ship to Canadia?

If the blower motor can be easily swapped a cheap should be a good choice. But if the change needs several hours a high quality one might the better choice.
Volvo 240 is an
example car with
a very difficult to reach blower motor. The silly
Swedes decided to bury the blower deep inside the dashboard.

How much of the dash do you have to rip out to replace that? I just did the heater motor on my Range Rover and it took an entire weekend, at least a case of beer, and literal tears.

RockAuto has new blower motors for as low as $40.
Can confirm; RockAuto’s price for my truck’s blower motor was only $29 plus shipping. But lo and behold, I ended up getting it (same exact brand and part number) from the local AutoZone for less ($28 plus tax). No special sales, coupons, or gift cards; they just straight up had a better price. I’m glad I checked!

Ditto on that. My Audi has it buried behind the false firewall. PITA to get to.
